Welcome to NAEN Music

Therefore God exalted Him to the highest place and gave Him the name that is above every name, that at the name of Jesus, every knee should bow, in heaven and on earth and under the earth, and every tongue confess that Jesus Christ is Lord...

November 2011 Update:

November is the month we always associate with elections and thanksgiving.  We see this as a perfect season to come together and join our hearts in intercession on behalf of our nation, our individual states, and the Nation of Israel.  We are using our voice to call our nation into intercession between now and the 2012 elections, that will change the course of our nation.  The desire of our hearts as believers is that there would be a great awakening in the hearts of ALL believers...that we would awaken from our complacency in prayer, and become BOLD in our intercession and purposeful.  WE CAN and WILL as a nation return to God, and see Him heal our land, but we must activate our intercession.

The Bible says that the earth is groaning for the sons of God to be revealed.  The enemy knows the impact even one passionate and active believer can do against the powers and principalities of darkness if that one believer would recocgnize the athority that has been give to him.  So the enemy's primary objective is to keep us from waking from our slumber.  His desire is to keep us deaf under the weight of the spirit of religion, and to keep us complacent and feel as though our time in prayer is not making a difference anyway.  His desire is to keep us SO BUSY that even honoring the sabbath becomes a thing of a past generation, which also removes a blessing to the believer if that commandment is not followed.

But People of God!  There is GOOD NEWS!  Isaiah 54:17 "no weapon forged against you will prevail, and you will refute every tongue that accuses you.  This is the heritage of the servants of the Lord, and this is their vindication from me. Declares the Lord."  Our enemy is the accuser.  He comes to steal, kill and destroy, but Christ has come that we may have life and have it to the fullest!  Full life is life out from under the weight of the accuser...the accuser tells us that our intercession does not matter, honoring the commandments of God does not matter.  But as we look at the entire cannon of scripture we see the recurring principle is that our intercession carries the weight of many, and our obedience to God's commands results in His blessing.  Even in Deuteronomy 32:24 asks how could one man chase a thousand, and two put ten thousand to flight, except for the aid of God?  We as the Children of God have might and athority that our enemy does not have.  We can pray "Our Father, thy kingdom come, thy will be done, on earth as it is in heaven..." And he will hear us from heaven and change the world through our intercession!

Be encouraged people of God!  Pray for your Nation!  Pray for righteous leaders to be raised up and legislation based on Biblical principles to be written up and passed.  Pray that we as a nation would humble ourselves and pray and seek God's face, so that our Father God will come to us and heal our land.  Pray for our president, and his cabinet.  Pray that he seeks the face of God for his decisions, and pray that he will be a friend of Israel, the Land of our God's heart.  Pray that we as a nation would stretch forth our hand in eternal friendship with Israel and support them and every inch of land that is recorded in the Bible to have been given to them, by our Creator God...the Great I AM, the God of Israel.                           Kris Jacobson

July 2011 Update:

We have stepped into a new season as a couple, and it is always exciting to see what new adventures the Lord has for us.  Presently the Lord has opened up the opportunity for Erik to step into the worship director role at our home church, Crossroads Church in Forest Lake.  It has been the Lord's hand leading us every step of the way and we rejoice in stepping into this new work with Him.  We continue to lead worship for WEHOP, which is the local house of prayer in Forest Lake.  We enjoy gathering as the body of Christ and worshipping beyond denominational lines.  We simply love to sing praises to the Lord, and join in the chorus of believers adoring the one who brought us salvation and hope!                                  Kris Jacobson

October 2010 Update:

We serve an amazing God.  Have you ever just stopped to think about it?  The God who created every star, aligning them into constelations, the massive expanses of the galaxies, the incomprehensible size of it all. I've heard it said that there's enough stars in the universe that each person on earth could own a billion of them and there'd still be plenty to go around.  And yet God loves you, He loves me.  And it's not like some general blanket of love He spreads over all Humanity, He loves us each as an individual. He knows each issue we deal with externally and internally and He longs to fellowship with us in every area of our lives.  He is mighty, powerful, and sovereign over all and yet present with us each moment.  What an amazing God we serve.

We're looking forward to what He will do through us over the next few months, desiring that He will have His way and that through our humble clay jars, the treasure the He is will shine forth.

Exalting the Name Above Every Name,

Erik Jacobson

June 2010 Update:

Wow, how time flies!  Already we find ourselves nearly rounding the half way point of the year!  Kris and I have been encouraged by reports from various people telling us that our music has touched their lives and ministered to them.  That is our goal and desire, that people would be brought closer to Christ because of us.  In Galatians 1:22-24, the Apostle Paul says that many had heard that the one who formerly persecuted the church was now serving Christ and they "praised God because of me."  That is our desire; our whole life and purpose is that others would give praise to God.  That they would forget about us, but the end result of our part to play is God receiving glory.

We have begun a new adventure along with our friends Kerry and Kirsten Liebelt.  They have started a local house of prayer right in downtown Forest Lake and have asked us to orchestrate the worship aspect.  It's called WEHOP (Worshipping, Equipping, House Of Prayer) and we are excited to see what the Lord is going to do through it.  We lead two hours of worship every Friday night at 7:00p.m. called "Friday Night Fire" and encourage everyone to come and soak in the Lord's presence with us.

Blessings in Christ, the Name above every name!

March 2010 update:

God is good! Regardless of what we go through or do, He is faithful.  What a great God we serve!  Kris and I wanted to thank everyone who was able to make it out to our CD release worship concert. It was a great time of lifting up the Name of Jesus and telling the stories of where our songs came from and what was going on in our lives at the time each one was written.  We look forward to what the Lord will do in the future as we seek His will and direction.

Coming up next week, Kris and I have been invited to sing at Victory Church in Waupaca, Wisconsin. (Kris' brother, Jason Buck's church)  We'll sing a few of our songs, tell of the faithfulness of our great God and spend the weekend with family, so we're looking forward to it!

I want to especially thank my beautiful wife for all her talents employed in setting up this website! You rock, babe!  Now she even has a link set up that allows you to purchase a CD right from the web site.  Awesome!  I like tekie toys and gadgets and stuff and I'm fairly web savvy, but when it comes down to the details of making links work and all the programming involved, I'm in the dark.

Please pray for us to hear the Lord's voice and follow where He leads us in our ministry, whatever it may look like.  He is faithful and we just want to walk through the doors that He opens up for us.

Blessings in our Savior, Jesus Christ,

Erik Jacobson

February 2010 update:

It is finished!  Yes, almost three months after we had hoped to finish our project.  Thank you to Rich, Randy and Pat for your hours in this project - you all sure make work a blast!  Thanks, also to Ben for letting us pull in his violin talent for one of our songs.  You are each a blessing from the Lord to us.

We have set our CD release worship concert for FEBRUARY 28, 2010.  It will be at Crossroads Church in Forest Lake, MN at 6:00 p.m.  Our cds will arrive and be available for the worship concert.  We are excited about how the Lord has already worked through this project - all the glory goes to our amazing King Jesus!  In Him we live and move and have our being!

Erik reminded me just the other day how close we are to having enough songs for CD #2.  God is certainly on the move and we are delighted to be used by Him to bring Glory and Honor and Praise to Him through worship.

December 2009 update:

Wow, there’s a lot of little details that go into finishing a CD! We had hoped to have it done by the beginning of December, but as the deadline grew closer and closer, it became more and more apparent that it just wasn’t going to happen. But we’re close! Although my gift of time estimation isn’t my strong suit, I’m thinking that we’ll definitely have it finished and released in January. Now whether that’s January first or thirty-first remains to be seen, but unless there is an unforeseen delay, January is the month for sure!

Regardless of the details and slowdowns, we’re excited! There’s just something about worshipping the Lord that fills your heart with joy that no other type of music can do. I was talking to a friend the other day about an opportunity I had to sing secular music and get paid for it: singing isn’t enough, simply entertaining someone with your voice or instrument is still hollow at best. No offense to people out there who do that for a living, it’s just that, for me, my joy comes from singing to the Lord. It’s all about worshipping our Savior, Jesus Christ, and giving glory to the Father!

I know I can speak for my wife when I say, “that is our goal, that is our passion!”
