WEHOP - The Worship and Equipping House of Prayer in Forest Lake, Minnesota.

WEHOP is a non denominational community of believers in Jesus Christ, whose purpose is to gather, grow, worship and pray.

Come experience the presence of the Lord as we worship and pray and grow together. The word tells us "God inhabits the praises of his people." As we worship and praise, God is enthroned and His rule and reign is experienced in our midst.

Erik and Kris are the Worship Team Leaders for WEHOP.

Each Friday night they host worship for an event called "Friday Night Fire" from 7-9 p.m. The night then continues from 9-11 p.m. with additional worship.

~WEHOP History~

On Saturday, October 16th, 2010 we celebrated the Grand Opening of the Forest Lake area "Worship and Equipping House of Prayer".

Just entering the building there is an excitement and peace all at the same time. So many of us can not wait for the next session to begin or the next prayer meeting or the next worship meeting. We know the Lord is up to something beautiful in this house of prayer.

The WEHOP Center has been a long time vision from the Lord, carried by Kerry and Kirsten Liebelt. In May of 2008 they opened a prayer room in the heart of Forest Lake called The Secret Place. It was and is still located on the upper floor of Nature's Image Gallery and Frame Shop. At once it was open to the community for prayer gatherings. Fast forward to this past Spring and the WEHOP Center began to take on a new expanded look. As the remodeling began, we started with space for leadership training and a central area for Worship nights. We began with 7-9 worship each Friday night throughout the Summer months and finally extended the time to 7-11 with the addition of another worship leader.

It has been an exciting process of watching this vision come to reality. On October 16th, 2010 the WEHOP center was finally open to the public body of Christ. This event was the kickoff of Leadership training, Prayer and Intercession, and Worship. It was a day to unveil the vision the Lord had placed in us so long ago. I use the word "we" because the Lord had actually given two of us involved a vision of a training center 11 years ago while in a prayer meeting at a local church. The Lord has seemed to prioritize this training center in his heart for years.

We are excited to be so closely connected to Nature's Image Frame Shop and From The Heart Book and Bible Store. Each entity has been remodeling and restructuring to maximize the impact of the work of the Kingdom of God in the Forest Lake area. Combining these businesses has paved the way for a fully functioning center that combines business, prayer, worship and training.

We are excited about this grand opening, it marks years of vision and prophetic words from the Lord coming together in the Lord's timing all in the heart of Forest Lake, Minnesota.
